BOUNDARIES: Love Stories
“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”
First Corinthians 13: A familiar passage on love, even if you aren’t familiar with the Bible. It’s a common reading at weddings, but much harder to put into practice than we imagine it will be. Love Stories: The Class, a new 6 week course is for anyone and everyone--men, women, married, single--who cares about the relationships in their life. Led by Pastor Stacy and her team, Love Stories includes tools that can be used in any dynamic, romantic or otherwise, because that passage in First Corinthians? It applies to ALL your relationships. The final week of this class features a catered dinner. Class cost is $20 per person.

This women-only, 8 week course studies Geri Scazzero's The Emotionally Healthy Woman. The book and workbook bundle is $20. Purchase is required at time of registration and your order can be picked up at the Next Steps booth on Sundays. Class is held Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30 at Authentic Church HQ.

GROUNDWORK: Laying the Foundation for Unshakeable Faith
BEGINS FEBRUARY 25TH!
“As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice . . . they are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.” Luke 6:47-48
Do you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus? Maturing in Christ means growing in prayer, studying His Word, and knowing what we believe and why. This 8-week course focuses on the Biblical foundations of our faith. Whether you are a new believer or a seasoned saint, GROUNDWORK is essential for a firm foundation. There is no charge for this class, but course materials purchase ($18) is required with registration.

One thing we’ve consistently heard from Authentic You students as they heal, grow, and become equipped to enjoy emotional and spiritual health is this: “If only I learned this when I was younger.” Introducing Authentic You Jr, created specifically for elementary aged children.
Our boys class, “Taming the Monster Within,” we talked about BIG emotions, like rage, fear, worry, in fun and creative ways!
Our girls class, “The Battle Between Truth and Lies,” tackled the lies that young girls seem especially susceptible to: Lies about fear, identity, and even friendships.

YOUR MARRIAGE MATTERS
The health of your marriage matters. At Authentic, we understand that a church cannot be healthy without healthy marriages. To that end, helping couples grow healthy marriages is a high priority. We are pleased to be able to offer limited complementary marriage coaching to Partners of Authentic Church whose relationships are struggling or in crisis.
Meet Your Coaches

Jaime and Madison have been married for 7 years and have two beautiful children, Mila and Arden. They met while studying at Vanguard University, where Jaime received a degree in Pastoral Leadership and Madison received a degree in Missions. Madison later went on to receive her Masters in Pastoral Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Families from Liberty University.
Having gone through difficulties and overcoming great obstacles in their own marriage, Jaime and Madison are extremely passionate about helping couples thrive in their marriages and become the spouses that God has called them to be. They realize that marriage can be messy, but hope for couples to realize that if they are willing to put in the time, energy, and hard work, God can make something beautiful out of their marriage. Understanding that marriage problems can often seem isolating, they hope for couples to know they are not alone and that healing happen in community and there is great power in vulnerability.

Randy and Ami have been married for 35 years. They have two children along with 7 wonderful, beautiful, fun grandchildren.
The Staggs firmly believe marriage is a covenant and commitment—choosing to love each other through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Their desire is to have a marriage that is honorable to the commitment they made before God, and others.
Randy and Ami’s prayer and hope is to see marriages not only survive, but thrive as God intended. To that end, they help other couples by walking alongside them as coaches.
